Violinist Wanchi premieres Rising on the Wings of Dawn

Rising on the Wings of Dawn was inspired by the portion of Psalm 139 that sings of the ubiquity of God, present all around us. This solo violin piece embodies the metaphor of rising both in the rising arc of the melody, moving from the low edge to the stratosphere. It was originally composed for Wendy Chase, on whose  CD Tiger & Clover it will appear on the  Blue Griffin label. Wanchi is giving the premiere performance. She will be joined by pianist Lori Piitz on her recital.
