The program features Judith Shatin’s Birkat Hakohanim (a setting of the original Hebrew of the Priestly Blessing, which begins ‘The Lord bless you and keep you…’), commissioned and premiered by the University Singers of the University of Virginia on 11/9/12. The wide-ranging concert also includes a movement from Rachmaninoff’s Vespers, Whitacre’s The Seal Lullaby, Frank Ticheli’s There Will be Rest, and much more!
