Floes dance debuts at the Martha Graham Studio Theatre

Choreographer Virginie Mecene, artist SoHyun Bae and Judith Shatin collaborated to create Floes, a inspired by ice floes – free-floating flat ice chunks that are becoming thinner due to climate change, and their movements are accelerating. This backdrop was front of mind as we collaborated piece, each sharing her work with the others as we built this piece.
