Organist Gail Archer performs Dust & Shadow

Organist Gail Archer performs Dust & Shadow for organ at Bayard Sharp Hall at the University of Delaware. She commissioned Dust & Shadow in 2017, and has performed it numerous times, with developing special timbral combinations for each unique organ”s voice. I developed the timbral combinations on the organs at the First Presbyterian Church and at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlottesville, VA. I had a wonderful time experimenting on these beautiful organs, and am especially grateful to organists Jeremy Thompson and Alice Layman for their kind assistance.
