Postponed – Corona Virus’d Unter Soreles Vigele, World Premiere

YIVO will present the world premiere of my setting of Unter Soreles Vigele (Under Sarah”s Cradle), a traditional Jewish lullaby, scored here for mezzo-soprano and piano, at the Center for Jewish History in New York City. This commission is part of their folksong project, in which several contemporary composers are creating new settings of traditional Yiddish folksongs.
