Saxophonist Jan Baker performs Penelope’s Song

Saxophonist Jan Baker performs Penelope”s Song for amplified soprano sax and electronics made from processing recordings of Charlottesville-based weaver Jan Russell working on wooden looms on the Bent Frequency concert.  The program, which also includes music by Jue Wang, Frederic Rzewski, Cathy Cerberian, Adam Mirza, Iannis Xenakis and Eve de Castro-Robinson will be performed at the Michael C. Carlos Museum on Emory”s Atlanta campus.
