Clarinetist Andrea Cheeseman performs Penelope's Song for amplified clarinet and electronics made from processing recordings of Charlottesville-based weaver Jan Russell on the Signal Flow, Vol. 2 program of electroacoustic music at the Studio Theatre, Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. She recorded it on her terrific CD Somewhere, which you can also hear it on Spotify and the other usual streaming services. Other versions of Penelope's Song, are also available, including the original for viola, as well as those for amplified cello, violin, flute, or soprano sax.
