The piece has five movements, each inspired by a different line from a poem of Emily Dickinson. It was commissioned and premiered by Gayle Martin Henry. Also on the program are piano trios by Chen Yi, Peter Maxwell Davies, Toshio Hosokawa, Elena Katz-Chernin and Gabriel Salcedo.
